Manufactured in Kauhava, Finland, Ahti knives have a long and esteemed history in the art of knife making. Crafted by Reino Kamppila and his son, the knives are a product of their fourth-generation family business. Despite operating from a smaller shop, they consistently deliver knives of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Both the knives and their leather sheaths are not only visually appealing but also highly functional. Following the Scandinavian tradition, the handles are meticulously fashioned from curly birch, then sanded and stained. The knives boast polished brass fittings, with plastic inserts in the sheaths to ensure protection for both the sheath and the user's hand, given the knives' sharpness. The belt loops are ingeniously attached to the sheaths via small metal rings, allowing for easy movement and comfortable wear on the belt.

One of their notable creations is the Korpi, aptly named "Deep Woods," featuring a slightly shorter and narrower blade ideal for carving, whittling, or scrimshaw.
